Plainview, TX — The Plainview–Hale County Economic Development Corporation (PHCEDC) has launched two new free resources designed to help local entrepreneurs, startups, and existing businesses strengthen their presence and grow with confidence.

The newly released How to Start a Business Guide walks prospective business owners through the key steps of launching a business in Plainview—from planning and permitting to local resources and support. The Social Media Guide for Small Businesses provides practical, Plainview-specific tips to help local businesses build visibility, connect with customers, and tell their story effectively online.

“These guides were created to remove some of the mystery and intimidation around starting and marketing a business,” said Kristi Aday, Executive Director of the Plainview Hale County Economic Development Corporation.  “We want entrepreneurs to know they don’t have to figure it all out on their own. Plainview has tools, partners, and people ready to help.”

Both guides were developed with local conditions in mind and are intended to be straightforward, practical, and easy to use—whether someone is opening their first storefront, expanding an existing operation, or simply looking to improve their online presence.

The guides are available at no cost and can be downloaded by clicking the links below.
